2014 Great Backyard Bird Count has started for Bird Aficionados and Bird Watcher

The highly anticipated 2014 Great Backyard Bird Count has already started on February 14. This citizen powered science project is quite helpful for people who have keen interest in monitoring bird populations from around the world. It also brings all bird enthusiasts and bird watchers on one stage.

Signing up for the event is easy and free. Just one has to follow few steps available on site and he will be registered. The event has been sponsored by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Bird Studies Canada and the National Audubon Society. It is being held for the second time and anyone could participate in the event.
